À propos de cette destination
Europa-Park, located in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, is Germany's largest theme park and one of Europe's premier entertainment destinations. Founded by the Mack family in 1975, the park has grown from its humble beginnings as a showcase for Mack Rides' attractions to become a comprehensive resort encompassing a sprawling theme park, multiple hotels, and the Rulantica water park.
The park's distinctive concept features 18 themed areas, most of which represent different European countries, each meticulously designed to capture the architecture, cuisine, and atmosphere of their real-world counterparts. From German, French, and Scandinavian villages to recreations of Italy, Spain, and Greece, the park offers visitors a "mini European tour" experience.
Europa-Park boasts over 100 attractions and shows, including 13 roller coasters that range from family-friendly rides to extreme thrill experiences. Among its most famous attractions are Silver Star (one of Europe's tallest and fastest roller coasters), Blue Fire (a launched coaster reaching speeds of 100 km/h), and Wodan Timbur Coaster (a massive wooden roller coaster). The park also features water rides, dark rides, and numerous live entertainment options, including shows, parades, and seasonal events.
Beyond the rides, Europa-Park is known for its high-quality theming, immaculate gardens, and superior gastronomy options, including the Michelin-starred restaurant Ammolite. The resort has expanded to include six themed hotels, the Rulantica water park (opened in 2019), and various entertainment venues, making it a complete vacation destination that attracts over 5.8 million visitors annually.
