Rust

Located in the southwestern region of Germany near the borders of France and Switzerland, Rust is primarily known for hosting Europa-Park, the country's largest theme park and the second-most popular theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris. The town itself is charming and picturesque, with a historic center featuring traditional half-timbered houses and a wine-growing heritage. However, Europa-Park has transformed this once quiet rural community into a major tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors annually. Despite its small permanent population of around 4,500 residents, Rust has developed significant tourism infrastructure, including hotels, restaurants, and other amenities to accommodate the park's many guests.
